1829-1900

David was  probably the last of the brothers to arrive, landing in New York aboard the ship Gaston August 21, 1850. He joined his brothers  in Texas, settling eventually in Bonham and operating a Dry Goods store there.

He served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, serving eventually as Quartermaster for the 16th Texas Cavalry Dismounted, Fitzhugh's Regiment. You can learn more about them here:

In 1873, David married his brother Sam's widow, the former Florence Ezekiel. They had three daughters together and made their home in Bonham, until they died in 1900 and 1902, respectively.
